Our Basic Radiation Safety and Protection Course will put you in quick and easy compliance with all mandated State guidelines. Our Basic Radiation Safety and Protection Courses are given by Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologists and follow the curriculum as outlined by the Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

Bone Densitometry: Principles and Procedures - Non-Technologist

Non-Technologist Option: This 16 Hour Applications program is for those employees who are training or crosstraining to perform bone densitometry exams on your equipment and have no previous educational training in radiation protection procedures or radiology practice. *The four-hour radiation safety module meets the Department of State Health guidelines.

Each employee operating your equipment must have the required 16 hours of applications training by either a Licensed M.R.T. or Applications Physicist in addition to the 4 Hour Basic Radiation Safety Course. Failure to have the required certification could result in Administrative fines and disciplinary action such as license Denial or Revocation. Don’t let your license expire without getting your employees the required certification they need!

The Bone Densitometry 16 Hour Applications program is given by a ARRT Board Certified Bone Densitometrist MRT(R)(BD) and is site specific to meet your office needs
